This year I have lived one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I would like to introduce myself briefly. My name is Sara Reija Ares and I am a Spanish physiotherapy student who has been lucky enough to live during a
semester in Slovenia working at Terme Zreče. During this time I have learned a lot about our profession and have obtained a different point of view about the disease and the rehabilitation process that I had seen before in Spain. I have had very good teachers since the center has an incredible team both at a human and professional level. It is an efficient group, collaborative and eager to grow.
I have felt very welcome and understood by all of them and they have always shown me their unconditional support, understanding and kindness. In addition, I have been able to work with instruments and therapies that are very common here but in Spain I had only seen in theoretical lessons, which has been very enriching.
Finally, I would love to allude to the beautiful stranger: Slovenia. It is an excellent country but not many people have had the good fortune to know. His landscapes are impressive as are the hospitable and pleasant people. A community that, if it gives you the opportunity to meet it, will make you totally fall in love.
Once again, I would like you to know how grateful I am for the people of Terme Zrece. I think they have given the best of them all to make me feel good and the truth is that they have done so well, that now I can call Slovenia my second home.
Hvala lepa Terme Zreče!
