Our chefs observe the following guiding principle: cook in a sensible, diversified and healthy way – cook well.

Our ancestors cooked their dishes in accordance with the principle of combining healthy and good food. Adjusting dishes to the season and selecting locally-grown crops were regular features of everyday cooking. Terme Zreče is reawakening this cooking method through modern recipes, new dishes and ingredients provided by the intact surrounding nature and grown locally.

As concern for human health constitutes our primary activity, we are aware of the importance and impact of peoples' diets on their health and well-being. A balanced diet, dietetics, sports nutrition and vital menus form part of our tailored range that seeks to improve the quality of life of our guests.

Our wine list includes excellent wines from Styria, other Slovenian wine-growing regions and abroad. Priority is given to local wine-makers, who produce their wines with love and hard work, as the vineyards below the foothills of Pohorje are the highest-located in the country. This altitude (in some cases reaching over 400 metres above sea level) provides local wines with a distinct character. You can also become familiar with them by visiting the locals, including the evergreen poet Jurij Vodovnik.
