Its healing properties are beneficial with the following health issues:

Diseases of the musculoskeletal system:

Predominantly, this group includes the non-inflammatory rheumatoid diseases (degenerative changes in joints, chronic pain in the spinal area and calm phases of inflammatory rheumatism)

Gynaecological

Thermo-therapy with peat is beneficial with gynaecological conditions, especially chronic inflammatory processes of the uterine adnexa and the parametrium, ovarian dysfunction, abnormalities in the menstrual cycle, and above all, in the treatment of fertility problems.

Urological diseases

We recommend the use of thermotherapy in chronic inflammatory processes of the urinary system and in non-specific inflammatory processes

Adult diseases

We especially recommend thermo-therapy in chronic gastrointestinal diseases of non-specific origin (chronic constipation, tympanites, gallbladder problems and similar chronic diseases that can get better by improving the blood circulation in the digestive system)

Psychosomatic diseases

Peat treatment can be a remarkably beneficial supplement in any programme of group workout programmes for relaxation in treatment of psychosomatic and neurotic issues.

Peat bath and wrapping

Peat, as an organic peloid, is used in two forms, that is: as a bath or wrapping.

PEAT BATH

It consists of peat from Pohorje and thermal water. The bath has a beneficial effect on well-being, strengthens health and eases pain. A structure rich in minerals uniquely removes a series of problems. The peat bath is particularly recommended for all generalised system diseases. The therapy lasts 30 minutes

PEAT WRAPPING

These are direct wrappings on a diseased body part.  He peat is heated to approximately 35 – 40 °C and thus slowly provides heat for a long time. The therapy lasts 20 minutes

Cold peat wrapping is used for local problems where the feeling of heat is not desired or is contraindicated, or where the cooling effects are desired.
